Dr. Nigel Stephens attended Kings College London where he completed his B.Sc., Ph.D. and M.B.,B.S. Dr Stephens then took a position as HP in Endocrinology and General Medicine at Kings College Hospital before becoming HS in Cardiac and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Stephens then became Senior House Officer, firstly in Cardiology and Clinical Pharmacology, Hammersmith Hospital, then in Neurology at the National Hospital for Nervous Disease in Queens Square and finally in Renal Medicine at Guys Hospital. In 1991, Dr. Stephens returned to Hammersmith Hospital to become Registrar in Adult and Paediatric Cardiology before moving onto become Senior Registrar in Cardiology and University Clinical Lecturer in Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology (Rotating post) at Papworth Hospital Cardiac Unit / Addenbrooks University Hospital Cambridge. In 1996 Dr. Stephens took up his current position as Director of Cardiovascular Medicine and Consultant Cardiologist at Northwick Park Hospital, Hon. Senior Lecturer in Medicine Imperial College, Consultant Cardiologist Harefield Hospital and Hon. Consultant Cardiologist British Olympic Medical Centre.
