Anthony Shaw
After
completing his Sports Science degree, Anthony worked for the Medical Research
Council. He then went to work on British International Rowing’s
Talent Identification scheme, World Class Start and Potential, which is
designed to identify and train talented athletes with the potential to
become Olympic rowers.
Anthony joined the CRY Centre for Sports Cardiology in
November 2004 initially
assisting Mathew Wilson in the day to day running of the centre before
becoming the Screening Manager in April 2007. As well as being an approved
ECG technician, Anthony is also qualified as a Level 3 Advanced instructor
with the British Register of Exercise Professionals.
Anthony’s main sporting interests include football,
cricket, running, snowboarding and skiing.
